April 2011-Oswego County OB-GYN, P.C is pleased to announce the first baby born in 2011

Rylee was born to Erin Taft and Greg Emeterio on January 2nd, 2011. Rylee was delivered by Dr. Daniel Coty at Oswego Hospital.

Erin was presented with a basket of baby items such as; bottles, wipes, blankets, clothes and toys and coupons from area merchants.

 

 

 

 

 

February 2010-OCOBGYN to offer weightloss program.-We are starting a medically supervised weight reduction program at the Montcalm Street office in Early March.  Call for more information.

October 2009-Certified Nurse Midwife – Joins Oswego County OB-GYN, P.C.  and to provide services at Oswego Hospital

Certified Nurse Midwife, Brenda Pickhardt has joined the professional staff at Oswego County OB-GYN, P.C. and the medical staff at Oswego Hospital.  

Brenda recently graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a Master of Science degree in Midwifery and is Board Certified by the American Collegeof Nurse-Midwives. Brenda has over ten years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse before becoming a Nurse-Midwife and also holds a Bachelors Degree in both Nursing and Business Administration/Accounting.

Pickhardt is eager to provide obstetrical services to the women of Oswego County in the new maternity center at Oswego Hospital. She feels that the technology in Oswego Patient records of the practice are maintained with an Electronic Medical Records system which links the Hospital with the provider’s private offices so that critical patient histories and visit information can be accessed during delivery.  The new maternity center also has a state-of-the-art patient monitoring system that allows the physicians to track the progress of their laboring patients. These patients can be monitored through a secure web program whether the physician is at the office, at home, or in the maternity center. will help her to provide exceptional care both in the hospital and office settings. “I am very impressed with the Maternity unit at the Hospital and the Technology level of the practice” said Ms. Pickhardt.

In addition to her obstetrical duties Brenda has extensive training in routine gynecological procedures and well woman care and is eager to establish a patient following in the Oswego area.
