 | | A founding member of Oswego County OB-GYN, Dr. Mather came to Oswego in 1961, following Medical School at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, residency on Long Island, and a two year stint in the Army. Dr. Mather has been Board Certified in OB/GYN since 1963, is a Past President of the County Medical Society, CNY Association of OB/GYN’s and ACOG District Chairman. Currently , Dr. Mather works part-time doing office gynecology. |

 | | Dr. Uva is the other founding member of Oswego County OB-GYN. Dr Uva joined Dr. Mather in practice in Oswego in 1980. Dr. Uva received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from SUNY at Buffalo, earned his M.D. at University of Studies, Bologna, Italy, and completed residency at SUNY Upstate. He was Board Certified by the American College of OB/GYN in 1982 and voluntarily recertified in 1999. Dr. Uva is currently the Chief of OB/GYN at Oswego Hospital and ACOG District Chairman. Dr. Uva has recently returned to doing obstetrics where he has delivered over 6,500 babies and also performs gynecological surgery and office care. |

 | | Dr. Mather was raised in Oswego and then graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He returned to CNY in 1982 to complete his OB/GYN residency at SUNY Upstate following Medical School at St George’s University in Grenada. Dr. Mather returned to Oswego to join Oswego County OB-GYN in 1986. He became Board Certified by ACOG in 1988 and voluntarily recertified in 1999. Dr. Mather is a Past Chairman of the Oswego Hospital Board of Trustees and serves on many committees, most notably the Construction projects for the new Surgical, ICU and Maternity departments. He has also served as chair of the Quality Assurance committee of ACOG District II. Dr. Mather provides complete Obstetrical and Gynecological care both at Oswego Hospital and the Oswego County OB-GYN offices. |

 | | Dr. Coty joined Oswego County OB-GYN in July of 1999. He received his Bachelor's Degree from William Patterson College and his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed an OB/GYN residency at Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren, MI. Dr. Coty is Board Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Obstetrics and Gynecology. Before moving to Oswego, he practiced for three years in private practice in Toledo, Ohio and was the assistant Residency Program Director for OB/GYN at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Coty provides complete Obstetrical and Gynecological care both at Oswego Hospital and the Oswego County OB-GYN offices. |

 | | Diane Whaley, CNM. received her Nursing degree from SUNY Canton in 1986 and her Nurse Midwifery and Nurse Practitioner degrees from the University of California at San Francisco in 1993. She has over fifteen years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She originally practiced with Oswego County OB-GYN, P.C. from 1997 to 2005. The past two and one-half years Diane was working at the Regional Perinatal Center in Syracuse where she gained extensive High Risk Obstetrical training. |

 | | Judy earned her Liscenced Practial Nurse degree in 1969 and Registered Nursing Degree a few years later. She has worked at the Maternity and ICU Departments of Oswego Hospital and as a part-time nurse for Dr. Mather. In 1990 she joined Oswego County OB-GYN as the Office Nurse of the Fulton Office while earning her Nurse Practitioner degree which she completed in 1997. Since then Judy has been providing obstetrical and gynecological care to patients of Oswego County OB-GYN. |

 | | Catherine joined Oswego County OB-GYN in May of 1998. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1979, her bachelors Degree in Nursing in 1989 and her Masters and Certified Nurse Midwifery Degrees in 1998. Catherine has over seventeen years of nursing experience before becoming a nurse midwife. She provides complete Obstetrical and Well Women Gynecological care both at Oswego Hospital and the Oswego County OB-GYN offices.
